Wake-Up Call
Desperate Donnie, the Bullhorn of Bluster was certainly on the trail to stay in power and unimpeached as the midterm election approached.
His sad, lying pleas and redundant rhetoric to his followers was pathetic, and it’s hard to believe they cheered him on.
Trump’s outlay of fear and imagined hope are priceless, as if we, the U.S. and the world can afford two more years of promised “Golden Years.” Even Susan Collins is now admitting he doesn’t have a good plan. He might have a concept of a plan, which he might share post-election, but it will turn out to be more empty promises.
Trump is also bragging that the tariffs create wealth, which is true for him and his family while the cost for everything rises, sapping most American’s resources. As Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes sang in 1975, “Wake Up Everybody.”

The List
OK, so there’s one other person who thinks like I do: Yeah, yeah, all those yahoos Craig Corsini called out in his recent letter are, of course, a bunch of bad, evil people (“Bad Apples,” Oct. 28).
So what. The problem is, you weed out all the bad apples, and there will be 10 more ready and willing to take their place.
I voted, but until the linchpin—the rules and regulations for campaign finance—is changed, it’ll prove the same old tune on repeat.
Lastly, why no Pete Hegseth? The Devil incarnate? Was there a cut-off point or something?

As bad a Pete is, David, he was confirmed as opposed to elected. I still should have mentioned himself, RFK, and Blanche, at the very least.
