Will rent stabilization keep Marin and Sonoma counties affordable?

A housing forum last month in Marin County left activists frustrated over the county’s refusal to consider proposals that would regulate evictions and establish some form of rent stabilization.

  1. Yeah. Haven’t you whiny liberals realized yet that any form of rent control *anywhere* has made matters worse?

  2. it is a sad state of affairs for tenants in marin. i have many friends who are being priced out of their rental units in spite of having successful well paying careers.
    as a society we are allowing our greed to overcome our morals and community spirit.
    i am a landlord and i welcome rent stabilization in marin.
