An exhibit of photographs and paintings by Richard Blair and Kathleen Goodwin of places off the beaten track. A spectacular landscape as the Point Reyes National Seashore has an infinite variety of new vistas if you go to untrodden land. Locals know this, but keep their favorite spots to themselves – as it should be. Artists have a conservationist’s dilemma. Their work is meant to be seen and they want people to be inspired by their images to love and protect these places but not overwhelm it with too many visitors.
Blair and Goodwin came up with a solution. None of the locations of the none of the artwork are revealed but viewers are invited to take a quiz and guess them. The person with the best score will be given a beautiful print.
A reception for the artists will be held on February 3, 2108 from 1 pm – 4 pm.
