“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and will be lost.” – Martha Graham
A hands on approach to go beyond personal habits and find freedom in expression. We will engage in expressing drawing and painting exercises to explore your own inner language, to delve into your sense of play and joy. Each class will be different and by taking the series you will develop your own rhythms, language, styles and paintings.
There is a materials fee of $30 per class which includes paper and paint. Please bring your own brushes and drawing materials such as charcoal, graphite, acrylic markers, etc.
