According to Pacific Sun punk-goth reporter Black Luscious, the show was attended by none other than Dead Kenneys frontman Jello Biafra and Jerry Harrison, of the Talking Heads and the Modern Lovers. X—playing under the name X-35, in commemoration of 35 years since the critically acclaimed band burst upon the L.A. scene—is made up of Fairfax resident John Doe, guitarist Billy Zoom, along with (shown above) singer Exene Cervenka and drummer DJ Bonebrake. The Mill Valley mosh pit was mostly courteous, according to Luscious, and the band ripped through its set in 90 minutes, finishing with a searing "Devil Doll."]]> <![CDATA[Baby elk season]]> It's baby time for the tule elk at their preserve at the tip of the Tomales Penninsula in the Point Reyes National Seashore.
